I spoke with both Candec and Yellow Moon Homes Inc. and I was informed that the material that was being picked up and put into bags was pieces of transite pipe. Hence, the reason for some items being bagged while the inert material was left on site. Please be advised that this activity does not interfere with this Ministry's audit process. The pieces of transite will be properly disposed off at a licenced receiving facility.

Ed. note: Transite pipe is categorized as Asbestos Containing Material. Since the purpose of the Ministry's audit was presumably to verify the proponent's claim that the site had been 'cleaned', I would have thought that the Ministry's audit process would have immediately stopped since it was now evident that the site was not clean.
