Dear Friends and
Neighbours,
Please allow me to
introduce myself as your Ontario Member of the Provincial Parliament,
Wayne Arthurs. I am very honoured and privileged to represent the people
of this very dynamic and unique riding.
Pickering-Scarborough
East is the only riding in
Ontario
that bridges the 905 and 416 area codes. My role as a Member of
Provincial Parliament is to not only represent this community at Queen’s
Park, but to address the issues and concerns that are present within the
riding.
Currently, our constituency office is located at 1550 Kingston Road, Suite
213,
in
Pickering. Due to the redistribution of the riding boundaries however,
our office is now outside of the new riding limits and as such, we are in
the midst of confirming our relocation. Once we have determined the new
office address, I will inform the community accordingly.
It is
essential for me to know our community’s concerns, as well as its promise
and potential. If there are any provincial matters you require assistance
with, please call my constituency office at 905-420-0829 and a member of
my staff will be happy to assist you.
One final
note, please mark Saturday, March 1st in your calendars, as you
will have the opportunity to attend a yearly community event, which is
hosted in collaboration with other Scarborough MPPs. The 22nd
Annual Renaissance Conference is a policy workshop where you, as
constituents, hear from the panel speakers and can then voice your
concerns and issues with policies, as well as provide any solutions that
you may have. This year’s conference topics include Climate Change,
Poverty Reduction and Education. For more information, please contact the
